Mmm. Chelsea vs Liverpool now. Welllll.... i dun care who wins. I just hope more injuries occur. Or maybe they all get involved in a brawl which results in like 7 match bans for everyone. tt'll b good.

Was on e bus today, THINKING, not daydreaming, about soccer. What kind of player am I? Well.. I'm not particularly talented, not like Ronaldo and all his tricks, nor am I like a goal scorer like Rooney. And got me thinking about my secondary school football nickname (no. not ballpicker) Gattuso. K. For people who have no idea who or what Gattuso is, he's an italian defensive midfielder, and he plays for AC milan (ironic. was hoping for him to be injured longer.) Anyway they called me that becos like him, i'm a workhorse and well.. I'll do anything and everything to stop the attack of the opposition. (including sliding, using my body and everythin.)
Which got me thinking, why can't I be like a Ronaldo or a Rooney? I wanna grab the headlines as well..

Sounds familiar? (Eph 4:16) Mmm. Many times, we wished we could be playing other roles in church as well, don't we? Some want to be the leader, some just want to do nothing, etc etc etc. The list is endless. But.. Why don't we give thanks for our own roles? I mean, its.. an honour by itself to be playing in this team. If the coach gives you a role and you focus on it without trying to do something else, the whole team benefits. In the end, when the team wins, you get a medal too. If one keeps trying to do something other than the instructions of the coach, sooner or later, that player would get benched and the coach would just find someone to replace him. Thats just the same case in the kingdom. If you are constantly unfaithful with what God has given, do you really think that there is NO ONE ELSE IN THIS WHOLE WIDE WORLD who can do what you're doing? There would be so many people wanting to take your place. Sometimes you might not get another chance. Gd example. Last night (i think) Ferguson used Ronaldo as a decoy, not allowing him to steal the limelight but to play as a decoy for Rooney. And.. He did. Newspapers said that he was not as outstanding as Kaka. But... SO?!? Man U won. and isn't tt more impt than being outstanding? I really need to grow even more in this mentality. But right now, I really want to thank you, lord, for allowing me the priviledge of serving in Your kingdom.
